// Vida Guerra Biography

Vida Guerra heritage is Cuban but she has made a name for herself in America as a model, actress, and singer.

Vida Guerra, born in Havana, Cuba, moved with her family to the United States and started her American life in the town of Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Her career was started while growing up as she entered several fashion shows modeling swim wear, and appeared in a few music videos.

Vida Guerra’s first big break with national exposure came when she appeared in lingerie spread for FHM in December 2002. Her career took off as the magazine later reported that following its publication, almost one-third of their mail was from readers demanding more photos of her. Answering the demand for more of Vida, she was called back for more photo shoots and became "FHM's Model of the Year" in 2004. Since then, she has been featured in many magazines, including DUB, Smooth, Escape, and Open Your Eyes, often in the prominent position of "cover girl".

Vida Guerra has made multiple appearances on several Spanish language television programs such as El Gordo y la Flaca (The Fat Man and the Thin Woman).

She has also become highly in demand for music videos, appearing in such videos as:

"Shake Ya Tailfeather" (Nelly, P. Diddy and Murphy Lee, from the Bad Boys II soundtrack, 2003)

"The New Workout Plan" (Kanye West, 2004), in "Obsession (No Es Amor)" (Frankie J featuring Baby Bash, 2005).

In addition to an already booming career she has TV and movie appearances to her credit. She has appeared in a commercial for Burger King's TenderCrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch, a couple of sketches on Chappelle's Show (including "R. Kelly's '(I Wanna) Piss on You' Music Video", which spoofed the R. Kelly sex tape), and the film National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2.

Vida Guerra's name often gets misspelled, some typos include Gurrera, Guera, Gurera, & gurea

Also to Vida Guerra’s accomplishments, add the July 2006 issue of Playboy where the first formal nude photos of Guerra where published.

Song appearances credited to Guerra's musical talent include:

"You Got Me" ‘Vida’

‘Ghostface Killah's’ "Cherchez La Ghost"

‘112's’ "Anywhere"

‘Sisqó's’ "Thong Song Remix"

‘Choclair’ "Let's Ride"
